I’ve held a Professional Clear Multiple Subject Credential for 20 years. During this time, I’ve taught 1st through 5th grades in the public school system, as well as take some years off to raise my children. My husband and I have three daughters all of whom were or currently are students of St. Catherine School.
I graduated from the University of California, San Diego with a degree in Political Science and a minor in Russian Literature/Language. I studied in Russia and worked at the State Department in Washington, D.C. Later, I received my credential from California State University, Monterey Bay in 1997. I’ve been a catechist at St. Catherine Church for two years as well.
Outside of teaching, I love being with family and friends snowboarding, wakeboarding, and participating in half marathon, triathlon and road cycling events.
My philosophy as an educator is for every child to know their true value and dignity as a human being. Their educational exploration should be filled with joy and wonder. Beyond communicating facts, I hope to impact courage, hope and enthusiasm!
