RaiseRight… What Is It?

RaiseRight — formerly known as SCRIP — is a gift card fundraising program. It's a way to raise money for St. Catherine School, either through day-to-day purchases or for special occasions. Gift cards for retailers in various denominations can be purchased throughout the school year, and we ask that each family purchase a minimum of $1,000 in gift cards per year.

How Does RaiseRight Work?

Families can purchase RaiseRight for everyday expenses or as gifts to give to friends and family. For example, a family could buy a $100 gift card for Safeway and use it to purchase their groceries. The school would receive 4% cash back of that $100 gift card value. If a family bought Safeway gift cards worth $100 each, 10 times during the school year, then their RaiseRight requirement of $1000 for that year would be fulfilled. The percentage back from the retailers to the school varies; that amount is detailed on the order form when you pick your gift cards or when you order online from the RaiseRight website.

How Do I Get Started?

There are two ways for families to purchase RaiseRight gift cards:

At School, families can print out the RaiseRight Order Form at home, complete it and turn it in to the front office. Our RaiseRight Volunteers will have completed orders available on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and physical gift cards can be picked up by parents between 10am and 2pm. Alternatively, the gift cards can be sent home with the eldest student in the family, with a parent-signed risk/release form. We are not responsible for lost gift cards. Make sure to indicate how you’ll be picking up your RaiseRight on the form!

Online, families can purchase RaiseRight at anytime, day or night. To register with RaiseRight online, contact one of our RaiseRight coordinators for an enrollment code, then head over to the RaiseRight website to access our catalog. Most gift cards can be delivered electronically; some require a physical gift card. If families are making a purchase that requires a physical gift card, or they prefer one, the order will be fulfilled by our RaiseRight Volunteers and can be picked up at school (see “At School” process above).

How Do I Pay for RaiseRight?

If families purchase RaiseRight directly from school, payment is by check only

If families purchase RaiseRight online via raiseright.com/shop, payment may be made with credit cards.

How Much RaiseRight Needs to Be Purchased Each Year?

As part of the St. Catherine Financial Agreement, families are expected to buy a total of $1000 worth of RaiseRight per school year.

Any Perks for Buying RaiseRight?

When families purchase $200 worth of RaiseRight in a month, their student(s) may have Free Dress on the day designated by the school. There is an announcement on ParentSquare for each month, including a list of the students that may participate.
